A November day in Central park

Although this isn't the clearest of shots, I took a quick pic on my cell phone as I walked through Central park this afternoon. The colors are so vibrant, I want to bring my camera and take more (better) shots!

The Fog of Alaska

One morning as we cruised along to our next port, there was such a heavy fog, everything looked like it was from another planet. Eventually it cleared and the skies were as blue as ever.

Glaciers & Seals

Early one morning we heard announcements over the PA system to find that we were approaching the Endicott Fjord and Glacier. ALong the way we saw numerous seals playing in the water and the scenery was gorgeous!

Skagway & Sled Dogs

This was our stop in Skagway, Alaska. AFter walking through the town, we went to a dog sledding camp. We actually got a ride on a sled made for traveling on solid ground (since there isn't any snow up there in the summer). We met the teams of dogs, all of which were so friendly and happy, and then we got to meet a litter of 4 month old pups! LOVE THEM! I wanted to slip one in my bag and take them home!

Eagles

More from the Prince Rupert BC excursion part of our Alaskan cruise. We went on a crab boat and were able to watch the guys feeding the bald eagles that nested in the area.....such beautiful birds!

Butze Rain Forest

The following are pictures I took while hiking through the Butze Rainforest (Prince Rupert, BC) while on an Alaskan cruise. The foliage was absolutely breathtaking, the pictures do NOT do them justice at all! It was an experience I will never forget!
